Chicken drumstick gravy

Ingredients

Chicken drumsticks - 4-6
tomato - -2
Chopped onion - 2
Almonds - 5
Cashew - 1 Tbsp
cinnamon - 1
cloves -5
cumin seeds - 1 tsp
chicken masala powder - 1 tsp
corainder powder - 2 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp

To marinate:

lime juice -1 tsp
yogurt - 1 tsp
chilli powder - 1tsp
salt for taste

Method

1) Marinate the chicken with the marinade ingredients for more than 1 hr.
2) Roast the cloves,cinnamon,cumin seeds,cashew,almonds in little oil and then add tomato and 1/2 onion and saute till 5 min. Now blend the mixture into a fine paste.
3) Pour 1 tsp oil in a kadai and add the remaining chopped onion and saute till golden brown.Then add the marinated chicken pieces.
4) Now add the ground paste on to the mixture and add more than 2 cups of water and allow it to boil for more than 20 min.
5)When the chicken is cooked, garnish with corainder and serve hot for rice or roti
