Ingredients
Dry green peas - 1 cup
Tomato - 2
Chopped onion - 1
Coriander powder - 1 Tbsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tsp
Chopped green chillies - 2
Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp
Salt to taste
Method
1. Soak the dry green peas overnight and cook till soft.
2. Mash the tomato in a mixer/blender and keep aside.
3. Heat 1 tsp of oil/ghee and add chopped onions to it.Again add the chillies and saute till golden brown.
4. Add the ginger garlic paste and saute for 1-2 min. Add the mashed tomato and the turmeric powder and saute till done.
5. Add the cooked green peas,coriander powder,salt to taste and water to get required consistency and simmer for about 5 min.
6. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with roti/chapati.
